The Valor Christian College Leadership Cohort exists to help leaders, ministers, and believers in the Pontiac and Metro Detroit area take the next step with confidence, supported locally while pursuing a fully accredited education through Valor Christian College.

This cohort is not about pressure or performance.
It’s about formation, faithfulness, and finishing well.

SECTION 1: WHAT IS THE VALOR COHORT?
A Guided Pathway for Leaders Called to More

The Valor Leadership Cohort is a local support and guidance pathway for individuals enrolling in or attending Valor Christian College.

While coursework is completed online through Valor, this cohort provides:

  • Personal enrollment guidance

  • Academic planning support

  • Local community and accountability

  • Leadership development and spiritual covering

  • Ongoing encouragement through the journey

This is not a replacement for Valor.
This is a bridge to success within it.

SECTION 2: WHO THIS COHORT IS FOR?
Calling opens the door. Preparation keeps it open.

This cohort is designed for:

  • Pastors, ministers, and ministry leaders

  • Aspiring leaders sensing a call to serve

  • Working adults balancing family, ministry, and career

  • Individuals who started school before but did not finish

  • Marketplace leaders seeking faith-based leadership credentials

If you have the calling, but need the structure, this pathway may be for you.

WHAT PROGRAMS ARE AVAILABLE?
The Valor Cohort supports students pursuing both spiritual and marketplace leadership programs, including:

Ministry & Spiritual Formation Tracks

  • Pastoral Leadership

  • Ministry Leadership

  • Biblical Studies

  • Theology & Christian Leadership

These programs focus on biblical depth, ministry effectiveness, and leadership within the local church.

Marketplace & Secular Leadership Tracks

  • Organizational Leadership

  • Business & Leadership Studies

  • Christian Leadership with real-world application

These tracks are ideal for professionals, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and those called to lead beyond the four walls of the church.

Kingdom leadership belongs in every sphere.

This cohort is based in Pontiac, Michigan, and open to participants across the Metro Detroit area.

If you’re within driving distance—or able to attend virtually—this cohort may be a strong fit for you.

Tuition, Costs & Commitment

This cohort does not charge a separate cohort fee.

All tuition, course fees, and academic costs are paid directly to Valor Christian College, a fully accredited institution of higher education.

My role as cohort leader is to provide:

  • Enrollment guidance

  • Academic planning support

  • Local community and accountability

  • Pastoral care and leadership development

There is no additional cost to be part of the local cohort beyond your enrollment with Valor.

Our commitment is to remove barriers—not add them.
